It assembles a close and distant reading of dogstagrams examined over three years and includes a dataset of 6000 images of dogs posted on Instagram. | SENSING THE UP PIAZZAIn this project, by Dr Jenni Lauwrens, DH meets sensory ethnography. This audio-visual archive is a collaborative project that documents and critically analyses data collected at the University of Pretoria's Student Centre and Piazza. Students enrolled in the BA(Hons) Visual Studies programme in 2017 collected data - in the form of photographs and voice-notes - at the site, uploaded this material to create the archive, and then analysed the archive in an interactive multimedia reflection essay. |
